Booking Confirmation: Your trip booking is confirmed once Across Himalaya receives your deposit or full payment, as specified in their booking process. The booking confirmation will be sent to you via email or other means of communication.
Payment and Cancellation: Across Himalaya will have specific policies regarding payment deadlines, deposit amounts, and cancellation fees. It's important to review and understand these policies as they determine the financial obligations associated with your booking. Failure to meet payment deadlines or cancellation without proper notice may result in the loss of your deposit or additional cancellation fees.
Travel Insurance: It is strongly recommended that you have adequate travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and other unforeseen circumstances. Across Himalaya may require proof of travel insurance coverage before your trip commences.
Health and Fitness: Certain trips, especially those involving trekking or high-altitude activities, may require a certain level of physical fitness and good health. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically capable of participating in the chosen activities. It is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before undertaking any physically demanding trips.
Travel Documents and Visas: It is your responsibility to ensure that you possess valid passports, visas, and any other necessary travel documents required for your trip. Across Himalaya may provide guidance and support regarding visa applications but cannot guarantee visa approvals or be held responsible for any issues related to travel documents.
Itinerary Changes: Across Himalaya reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodations, transportation, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond their control. They will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any changes as soon as possible and provide suitable alternatives.
Limitation of Liability: Across Himalaya and its affiliates will not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party service providers, natural disasters, political unrest, accidents, or any other factors beyond their control. They will, however, provide reasonable assistance and support to resolve any issues that may arise during your trip.
Code of Conduct: It is expected that you will adhere to local customs, laws, and regulations during your trip. Any behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, or illegal may result in the termination of your trip without any liability on the part of Across Himalaya.
